Welcome to my Page!

I am a neutron-star enthousiast, working as a postdoctoral researcher at the Max-Planck-Institute for Radioastronomy (MPIfR) in Bonn, Germany Dunlap Institute for Astronomy & Astrophysics in Toronto, Canada.

Neutron stars can be thought of as giant atomic nuclei — approx. 20 km in size — that outweigh the entire Solar System. Some of the neutron stars we know of, spin as fast as 700 times per second and harbor magnetic fields a trillion times stronger than the Earth’s. No surprise, these objects push the laws of nature to the limit!

In the following pages you can learn about my research and also get an update on my news and whereabouts.

Feel free to contact me with any questions or comments you may have!
